MY STORY

Where Social Work
meets technology.

Apple Ecosystem Social Work Smart Home Cybersecurity Multilingual

My path into IT did not begin with a computer science degree. It began with people.

My degree in Social Work — officially recognised in Germany by ZAB — taught me three things that are rarely found in the tech industry: to truly listen, to be patient, and to find solutions that fit the person — not the other way around.

In 2008 I began working deeply within the Apple ecosystem — at the moment the very first iPhone was changing the world. What started as personal passion became, over 18 years, a well-grounded expertise: iPhone, iPad, Mac, Apple Watch, HomePod. Added to this is experience in IT Service Management — structured problem-solving, clear communication, reliable results.

Many of my clients arrived with the same luggage: bad experiences with condescending technicians, opaque costs, and the paralysing feeling of being “too old” or “too slow” for the digital world. I take that feeling seriously.

With me, there are no stupid questions.
Only honest answers — at a pace that suits you.

WHAT MAKES SILBERBRIDGE DIFFERENT

Six differences you
will actually feel.

The combination of social competence and technical depth is rare in the IT industry. Here is what that means in practice.

Social Competence

Human-centred
from the ground up.

A degree in Social Work (ZAB) is the foundation — not as decoration, but as a genuine working method. Listening, empathy and patience are not soft skills here; they are core methodology.

Apple Ecosystem

18 years of Apple.
No certificate can replace that.

Active in the Apple ecosystem since the first iPhone (2008). iPhone, iPad, Mac, Apple Watch, HomePod — deep knowledge grown through daily practice, not a classroom.

Structured Problem-Solving

Certified.
Structured. Reliable.

IT Service Management certification means problems are analysed systematically, not resolved by guesswork. Every visit follows a clear methodology — with a documented outcome.

Three Languages

German. English. Arabic.
No barriers.

Advice in three languages — not as a translation service, but as genuine access. For people who would face language barriers in other advisory settings, this is the decisive difference.

Privacy / Lock

Local solutions.
Your data stays yours.

Wherever possible: local storage instead of mandatory cloud, no unnecessary tracking services, no sharing with third parties. I always explain what I do and why.

Berlin · On-Site

One point of contact.
No call centre.

When you get in touch, you speak with me — Mohamed Ismail. No hotline, no rotating technicians, no automated responses. Personal, direct, and accountable.

MY WAY OF WORKING

Four principles.
Lived practice.

Not promises on paper — but methods I apply on every visit, in every conversation, and in every explanation. They come from my Social Work training and have been refined over 18 years of IT practice.

01

Listening before solutions.

Every collaboration begins with a thorough conversation — with no time pressure and no premature diagnoses. I want to understand where you stand today, what you genuinely need, and what you wish for in the future. Only then comes the solution.

From Social Work: assessment before intervention.

02

Explaining, not confusing.

Technology explained so you truly understand it — not so you are impressed but still confused. No jargon, no condescension, no artificial complexity. Clear language, calm pace, as many repetitions as needed.

From Social Work: accessibility as a principle.

03

Long-term support.

My goal is not for you to need to come back — but for you to become more capable and independent. And when new questions arise, new devices arrive, or new challenges appear: I am there. Not a one-off visit, but real ongoing accompaniment.

From Social Work: empowerment over dependency.

04

Privacy first.

Local solutions wherever possible. No unnecessary cloud services, no hidden tracking tools, no data shared without your knowledge. At every step I explain what I do and why — complete transparency is not optional for me; it is standard.

From Social Work: self-determination and informed consent.

VERIFIABLE RELIABILITY

Reliability is not a promise.
It is verifiable history.

In an industry where everyone claims to be the best, reliability is rarely truly provable. Mine is. Since 2008 I have been active on eBay — not as an experiment, but as a continuous, publicly documented success story in direct customer contact.

212,584+

Successful transactions on eBay

Over two hundred thousand completed transactions. Not coincidence, not a single lucky streak — systematic reliability over 18 years. Every transaction meant: promise kept.

100%

Positive ratings — consistently since 2008

One hundred percent. Not as an average — as a constant. From the very first transaction to today. That speaks not only to technical competence, but to communication, honesty, and the ability to reliably meet expectations.

16+

Years of continuous presence

Since 2008 — the year of the first iPhone — uninterrupted. No hype, no trend-following. A passion that became a profession, and a profession that never forgot its origins.

Since 2008

A foundation built from real relationships

Reliability does not grow overnight. It comes from thousands of interactions, honest feedback, and the willingness to acknowledge mistakes and improve. My reliability has a start date: 2008.

“The same reliability shown in 212,584+ eBay ratings is what I bring to every home visit, every initial consultation, and every WhatsApp message.”

— Mohamed Ismail
